Annual Conference, November 12-14, 2009

United Youth Courts of Alaska and the Kenai Peninsula Youth Courts are pleased to host the Annual Youth Court Conference to take place in Kenai.  This is an exciting opportunity for students, volunteers, and staff to gather from around the state and learn new skills, compare notes, and bring valuable information back to their respective courts. 

The conference will be held at the Chllenger Space Center, http://www.akchallenger.org/ and the students will have an opportunity for team-building by participating in simulated space missions.  Limited housing is available at the Center.  There will be additional training and activities designed to improve the knowledge and skills of the participants.  Ultimately the experience of the conference improves the operation of the individual courts.

Training and presenters are still being arranged for the conference.
